Symbolic Representation
The Star card has a beautiful graphical representation of a starry blue sky, with about seven or eight twinkling stars. A woman can be seen kneeling towards a pool of water. She is carrying two urns in her hands, poring water from one into the river, and from the other, onto the land.
Tarot Story
The fool now sits, depressed, on the austere setting where the Tower once stood. A feeling of immense loss is being felt by him, as he now feels alone and mislaid. Sitting on the cold stones, as he gazes up at the night sky, he notices, that close by where he sat, a beautiful girl is kneeling by a pool of water with two urns in her hands. She is glowing like the starry sky above, and suddenly the Fool notices and is surprised at what he is viewing. He watches her as she empties the urns, one into the pool, and the other onto the solid grounds.
Curious to know what she is doing, he asks her "What are you doing?" She looks up at him and answers back "I am replenishing this pool so that those who are thirsty may drink, and I am also watering the earth so that, the seeds may grow." she tells him. She then tells the Fool to come and drink a little water from the urn too. The Fool comes to her and kneels to drink. He realizes that the water tastes great and happily drinks it. The girl then says to him, "You are sad. I can see." "And I know why." She continues to say, "But all is not lost yet, and that is what you must remember. Knowledge, potential, trust and hope, these are still there with you. These, just like the stars, can show you the way to a new beginning."
And just when he thought he was beginning to understand what she was saying, she began to fade away, and soon, she vanished. And all that remains is a shining streak of light and suddenly a voice follows, saying "Follow your star and have hope."
Tarot Connotation

Suggesting transparency of vision and insight, the card most importantly reassures the Seeker that an unexpected help will be coming their way, which will act like a guiding light for their future.
The Star always suggests the peace and harmony but, the hope and healing that it suggests coming your way, might not be immediate. This is a card with a vision for tomorrow, foretelling unexpected help to find his way to the future.
